MyHealthData @ PNI2019

MyHealthData - medical data always with you. The team: Riccardo Ravallese, Luigi Moretti, Daniele Di Mitri.

On the 28-29th November 2019 I am attending PNI Cube (PNI: National Innovation Plan) the largest Italian yearly startup competition, this year taking place in Catania, Sicily. I will be there to support my team (in photo) for pitching and presenting MyHealthData (MyHD) an innovative startup idea which proposes a user-centric solution for managing medical data.

Making AI More Human

human-ai.jpg

Although my field of study is computer science and artificial intelligence, I am conducting my doctoral studies in a (soon to become) Faculty of Education while my field of expertise is Multimodal Learning Analytics. In this field, the Human component has always been of highest relevance. In the prototypes we developed it is typically a human that uses the developed systems, as well as the human (e.g. teacher or learner) is the subject of investigation.

Detecting Mistakes in CPR Training with Multimodal Data and Neural Networks

This journal article, the fourth and  main experiment of my PhD thesis was published in gold Open Access in the MDPI Sensors journal as part of the Special Issue Advanced Sensors Technology in Education by Daniele Di Mitri,Jan Schneider, Marcus Specht and Hendrik Drachsler  Image

Abstract

This study investigated to what extent multimodal data can be used to detect mistakes during Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training.
