My name is Daniele Di Mitri and I am a postdoctoral researcher at the https://EduTec.science group of the DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education in Frankfurt, Hessen.
In January 2021, I was nominated as AI newcomer in the field of humanities and social science, within the KI-Camp 2021, the nation-wide Artificial Intelligence event in Germany.

New adventures - moving to DIPF
New adventures are coming! From 1st November 2020, I join the Educational Technologies group at DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
The DIPF is the national think-tank in Education research in Germany. It works in close cooperation with Goethe University.
My new role is of Group Research Leader on the topic of Artificial Intelligence in Education (#AIED). I will join the team of my former PhD advisors Hendrik Drachsler and Jan Schneider Barnes. Never change a winning team 😉
The day of my PhD Thesis defence
On the 4th September 2020, it took place the long-awaited moment: I defended my PhD thesis:
The Multimodal Tutor - Adaptive Feedback from Multimodal Experiences. Finally, after a long journey lasted 4 years I was awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
A new adventure starts!
As of November 1st, I officially work as Post-doctoral Research in Artificial Intelligence for CAROU the Centre of Actionable Research (https://www.ou.nl/carou), valorisation centre of the Open University of The Netherlands.
